The temporary classroom was made with locally available construction materials as much as possible. However, the school needed support for technical supervision, vertical posts, roofing, and partition materials. EAI team provided technical supervision and needed cement panel for external wall.
Madane Danda Secondary School is located in Pachasa, Dhuwakot VDC-7, Gorkha, Nepal. EAI founding members and Nepal team visited the school and inspected the earthquake affected school buildings. The School Administrator, ward representatives, local social workers and local concerned people unequivocally requested to support construction of temporary structure to house 14 rooms that accommodate 35 students in each classroom.
